Hello

I’m sharing tools and reflections on physical, emotional and spiritual wellness in the hopes my stories can help someone out there.

New moon loveletter

First full body workout today. Your body remembers how to adapt to exercise—isn’t that amazing. Even your lungs are saying, hey I remember how to do this.

Today’s blood and bone was a reflection on what needs to be called forth during difficult times. These last couple weeks have been difficult. What have you called forth?

Rest. You get tired earlier than you’d like. That’s okay. Listen to her—and take the shower, put your pajamas on and rest. Slow it way down.

Doggie time. Your little reactive fur baby is learning with you. Celebrate how far you two have come. Sure she growled at some strangers this week. But you got her around people, and she got to redo some of those interactions because you let her. Good job, puppy mama!

Righteous expression of anger. Anger isn’t wrong. It’s right in some instances. You expressed it toward the people you were angry at instead of holding onto it in your bones and your organs. That’s so good. It’s frustrating, of course, but keep showing people how you want to be treated and spoken to. Stop accepting less than that from the people you love just to keep the peace.

Eat right. A little sugar here and there, sure. Overall, more soup, more veggies, more seeds.

Tonight, do a little new moon something for yourself to seal this time with the salve of ritual.
